Cristin Milioti is the mother!
Cristin Milioti (born August 16, 1985) is an American actress who has worked primarily in Broadway theatre. Since 2013, she is best known as “The Girl with the Yellow Umbrella” on How I Met Your Mother. She is the 2010 star of That Face [1] and she received a Lucille Lortel nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress for her work in Stunning. In 2012, Cristin received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her work inOnce. I LOVE HER!!!!!! [2] Her final performance as ‘Girl’ in Once was on March 24, 2013. She is The Girl with the Yellow Umbrella on How I Met Your Mother.[3]

Milioti was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.[4] She attended Cherry Hill High School East, graduating in 2003. She took acting classes at New York University.[5] She obtained bit parts in national advertising campaign ads, notably one for the Ford Edge.[6] She has also appeared in television programs such as 30 Rock and films such as Greetings from the Shore.
